Little update about Lisa
Thank you all who are actively praying for us at this time. And those who have helped practically too. We feel the love.
As you know Lisa had her first operation on Friday 27th September. It went well, the surgeon was happy.
However it was a huge ordeal for Lisa. It shocked us for a while just how difficult it was. Recovery has been gradual and each day Lisa seems to get a little better. The wounds are healing very well, the shunt is working. She had a stubborn water infection which we hope is now going.
A real encouragement to us is the fact that Lisa’s high blood pressure has gone altogether at this time. She has stopped her medication for this. Praise God as this was not supposed to happen.
The thought of an even bigger operation coming this year is a tad overwhelming and something we are trying not to think about.
However we are on the road to beating this and one surgery is done!
Thank you all
May the Lord bless you and cause His face to shine upon you.
Another highlight to give thanks for was the move of God on the last day on the ward at Walton hospital. People who had no hope for the future are getting saved in Jesus’ love! Actually at different times we have been blessed to lead people to Jesus through this whole thing.
We appreciate you all and hope you will continue to stand with us.
We will beat this in Jesus name
We will be back on the mission field together as a family
God will get the glory He deserves
