Since Christmas we have endured a difficult and trying time. We have known much opposition and victory. The body of Christ have also been such a blessing to us.
There has been times where we have felt suffocated by sadness, yet always God shines a light and we see Him in the darkness. Both Lisa and myself have been quite unwell which doesn’t help. However we both have great news!

Lisa is having her major surgery next week
As you know Lisa had her first operation on Friday 27th September. It went well, the surgeon was happy.
However it was a huge ordeal for Lisa. It shocked us for a while just how difficult it was. Recovery has been gradual and each day Lisa seems to get a little better. The wounds are healing very well, the shunt is working. She had a stubborn water infection which we hope is now going.
A real encouragement to us is the fact that Lisa’s high blood pressure has gone altogether at this time. She has stopped her medication for this. Praise God as this was not supposed to happen.
The thought of an even bigger operation coming this year is a tad overwhelming and something we are trying not to think about. However we are on the road to beating this and one surgery is done!
Thank you all
May the Lord bless you and cause His face to shine upon you.
Another highlight to give thanks for was the move of God on the last day on the ward at Walton hospital. People who had no hope for the future are getting saved in Jesus’ love! Actually at different times we have been blessed to lead people to Jesus through this whole thing.
We appreciate you all and hope you will continue to stand with us.
We will beat this in Jesus name
We will be back on the mission field together as a family
God will get the glory He deserves.
My Health?
I have been enduring venesections most weeks, fatigue, aches and pains etc. it’s been a rough time but God!
He continues to show His love in every step.
Each time I go to Wrexham to have 500ml of blood drained my iron ferritin levels are supposed to drop by around 30 units. I prayed that God would be gracious and I would see more like 100 units. I found recently after tests that my levels are currently dropping around 150 units each time. Five times the expected results. Gods grace on show again.
The medical staff were very surprised to say the least.
Sometimes we get down and wonder how we’ll ever get back to Kenya and our mission over there. Not to mention being useful here too.
Today I had another venesection, and was talking to the male nurse Ronald, about my work in Kenya. He is from Nairobi in Kenya and shared his testimony. He worked as a nurse in a mission on a small island on Lake Victoria. He had agreed to do 3 months before he would prioritise his career elsewhere. This island had no phone signal, no internet, or any facilities we value but desperate people in desperate need. He felt the Lords call and alone he maned the hospital facility for 13 years. Giving his life for those people and any hope of prosperity. God sent a hospital ship funded by princess Anne to take over the work and they were so impressed by him that they sponsored him to come and work in the NHS. His two children are now studying to be doctors in Kenya. God rewarded his sacrifice 100 fold. And used him to encourage me. I have been invited to his families place in Nairobi to go and meet them, when I’m out in Kenya.
I am still unwell and this condition (Heamochromotosis) is for life if God doesn’t take it away. But God is able to turn every situation for Good. He blesses us in the midst of the storm. We will come through this and shine all the more for Him.
We will be in Kenya again this year I believe it. For a mission, and together as a family. Lisa and I are trusting God will bring us through and do this great work. Our lives will be restored to us, and we will see His great work of salvation from Barmouth to Kakamega!

Grace
Grace has delayed her departure to Orlando by a few weeks and will now leave mid March. She wants to be here for mum and be a help. But will definitely still do her internship at the Kings Army soon.

Kings Army Academy London
May I recommend this event below to anyone interested in Evangelism and discipleship. It’s life changing and we would be there if not for this coming surgery. If you can - GO!
You will be a part of something world changing.
