I'd love to take this opportunity to introduce my daughter Grace to you all. She is passionate about serving God and has taken a year out to seek Gods plan and do as many missions as He allows. She will either go to university next year or end up on the mission field permanently, or both. She is an adult now and taking her future life of service seriously. She is trusting God to fully fund all that He has in store for her.
Please take a moment to read her from her heart and please keep her in your prayers. She is planning four missions this year before November and next year will be equally busy.
If you feel led to help grace financially you can click the button at the bottom of the email or use the bank details. All donations will be channelled through Operation Hope's charity account so please reference the donation as Grace, or tell us it's coming.
God Bless you all
Steve
Why am I doing this?
Just last month I finished College. I was studying Chemistry, Biology and Sociology at A Level. The next step for me would be University. This is something I wanted to think carefully about, I didn't want to go because i assumed it was my next step. As much as I love to study and am grateful for the opportunity to go to University, my heart has always been and will always be for God's plan. And so I began to pray intently.
Since being a young girl I have been able to watch as my parents pursued ministry. I was at almost every tent meeting and from a young age have been able to go to Kenya and watch as my dad preached the gospel and led a ministry alongside my Mum. This has been one of the greatest joys of my life and has marked me forever. Watching so many lives dramatically changed by the gospel and then being able to watch as they experienced the Holy Spirit for the first time, has always had my heart. I remember being asked by my friends to play outside at tent meetings but I wanted to sit and watch as the presence of God touched lives right in front of me, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing! I wanted to be a part of that, to carry the honour of sharing the gospel and seeing lives changed - to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
After careful prayer and leading from the Lord, I have chosen to take a year out. I won't be doing anything other than serving in my local church, evangelising in my local area and being a part of mission trips and training opportunities here in the UK and abroad. As well, I am looking for an employer that can offer me work when I am at home.
What is planned for this year?
Just last week I completed my CFAN Youth Crusade Training and passed my exhibition. This means that I am now able to join CFAN and go into Youth Crusades to preach the gospel and teach on the Holy Spirit. This is an incredible opportunity and something I am very excited to be able to do!
As you may now, Operation Hope have a short-term mission in October. I will be going on this trip to serve. We will be doing JAD (Jesus At The Door), Tent Meetings and preaching the gospel in a variety of settings?? After this Me, my Dad and some other CFAN trained evangelists will be doing a week of youth crusades in Kenya.
But even before this trip in October I have other amazing opportunities lined up. This Summer I'm doing a lot of Youth Work. I have applied and done some training to volunteer at the Elim Limitless Festival. This is a huge gathering for Youth aged 12-16. In my own testimony, attending Soul Survivor was life changing for me. I personally met God there and encountered the Holy Spirit which changed the course of my life. Limitless Festival is very similar to Soul Survivor, if not, pretty identical. It was on my heart to help serve and volunteer, to help facilitate an environment where thousands of youth, just like I was, can experience and meet with God - to start their intimate relationship with God.
Also, in September I will be flying out to Orlando to take part in the King's Army Camp led by Scott McNamara. This will be an invaluable opportunity to train in 1 to 1 evangelism, follow up and much more!
I have rough plans and hopes for the year ahead in which I will be going on many more missions and events, all of this I am taking to God and praying for His will and guidance before stepping into those opportunities.
What part you can play:
Thank you for taking the time to read my email. If it's okay I'd like to ask for your support?
If it is on your heart and you are able to do so I would appreciate any financial support. All support given would be used fully to fund mission trips.
But, even more than that, I ask for your prayer.
Your prayer is so appreciated. Knowing a group of believers is praying for you is such a blessing, an invaluable gift. I ask that if you have the time you would consider covering me in prayer during this new season!
Thank you again,
God Bless you all.
