operation hope - developments - will you pray ? - 31st aug 2022

After God opened the door and clearly led us to rent a base in Kenya, I began to imagine how He might use it.

I have always had a vision of taking teams of people into the mission field. I know from first hand experience it changes people. I so want to be a facilitator for this, for as many as possible.

However in my mind I began to imagine how I could use this in ways similar to other mission organisation as a way to part fund some of the rent or activities for the gospel. Nothing wrong with that, right?

Well God seems to think so, for us at least. The truth is it boils down to who are you focusing on for provision. If it’s yourself or anyone else then it is not what God is looking for. During the week of Arise God spoke to us so much! He was encouraging us in the vision He has given. But He was also encouraging us to believe He is truly Jehovah Jireh. He is passionate and jealous, He enjoys providing for His children and His missions. He doesn’t want His children to receive His vision and then be overwhelmed by worry trying to work out how they can do it for Him.

Will God use all man or of ways in His provision? I think so. Will teams go to the base? Yes and regularly too. But they will be the ones He clearly speaks to and leads to go. And throughout everything, He will be in control. He will be Jehovah Jireh.

Something that God has shown me very clearly along the way, is how much bigger His vision is to mine! He said to Reinhard Bonnke, “Africa shall be saved!” I believe that to be true. We are in a time of extreme harvest in Africa and the catch is way bigger than any of our nets.

We need others to work in unity!

God is going to bring alongside us, other evangelists and ministries. We have gone ahead, pioneered contacts, houses, transport, tents etc. But others are coming to use those things to His glory. And we will all share in the harvest.

I saw a picture of when God said launch out into the deep and put your nets down for the catch. The catch was so big they would have gone under trying to bring it in. They had to shout to partners to come and help. We want to pursue this as we go forward and trust God to do it.

I regularly ask God for His wisdom on these things. He did say if any man lacks wisdom let him ask.

I pray you will be moved as intercessors to stand in the gap for this harvest! To stand in the gap for all things to come together in Gods ways and Gods time!

At Arise conference God also connected us with two potential collaborators in this harvest. One of which are hoping to join me in Kenya this September to do a recon trip. These are good solid people who are tried and tested. At least one of which was trained by the very fruitful CFAN boot camp. But all of them have clear evidence of the hand of God on their ministries. I really believe this next trip is vital and is foundational for all we are doing.

Please pray for us!

We need your intercession and prophetic ministry too. Mountains need to be moved, but God is able. We’ve never known God to stretch us the way He has, but we are so aware that He is cheering us on with every step He puts before us. He who calls is faithful and He will do it!

We appreciate so much your prayer and if God speaks in anyway, pictures, words of knowledge, dreams, scriptures etc etc. please don’t hold them back. We see a part of the picture, but together we can see and do so much more.

I am planning to be travelling back to Kenya in 2-3 weeks time I will meet up with a couple of evangelists, one I mentioned earlier. Also to visit up to 4-5 locations and do ministry weeks. These are so fruitful, plus at least one of these will be the place we want to go and do a big tent mission in Nov/Dec this year.

Please keep us in your prayers at this foundation building time.

Every blessing
