Below is some updates and pics of where your continued support is going.
FIRST ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE YOU TO PASTOR SIMON KIBET AND HIS WIFE ROSE
God has clearly led us at Operation Hope to partner in the ministry of Pastor Simon and his family. They are church planters who have a passionate heart for the lost and those most in need. They will regularly be found in the slums and rural areas reaching out with the good news, as well as meeting people’s needs as much as they can do.
Over time I have been able to build a relationship with Simon that is based on trust and has never been abused.
We intend to travel with teams to boost the work of his church “Hope of Glory Church”. But also we intend to try to help financially. To ease the burden of rents etc so that the church can spend more time and resources reaching out to the lost. Every effort we make results in souls coming to Christ, as well as changed lives.
If God would enable you to give even a small amount on a regular basis, we would use it to continue helping Simon reaching out as well as planning missions for future months and years.
Regular updates will be given to show the progress the work. We value your prayers and support in anyway you are able. Also why not consider being a part of our next trip.
You could be coming with us?
What has been happening since our last emails
Many of you gave generous gifts to both Pastor Simon in Eldoret as well as Bishop Raphael in Kakamega. With these gifts we managed to feed many many people through the various feeding programs. And as a result a lot of precious souls gave their hearts to Jesus.
I want to start by saying thank you!!!
It was a genuinely wonderful response at a difficult time. Thank You!
In the last weeks our ability to give has dropped but the effort to reach people has not. You will see below pictures of the regular outreach. Pastor Simon and his team go out weekly into the slums and give all they can to those most in need. Also they take the Gospel and we have been seeing a great response.
If you read the paragraphs above and decided to give more or more regularly we will specifically be continuing this work as a priority.
Also the government has allowed them to start meeting again which is restricted by Covid rules but a great blessing. Few can enter the church but they meet regularly and are pressing in prayerfully in a meaningful way. They would like to give thanks to God for the low death rate in Africa so far.
Thank you all so much for your help to these precious people. Please keep them on your prayer list. Lift them up to Jesus regular and consider coming with us one time?
Every blessing in Christ
